Founded in 1994 by Cathy Simpson, Simpson & Associates Executive Search Inc. is a Western Canada-based, executive recruitment/search firm providing premium consulting search services on a retainer basis to client organizations throughout Canada, North America and Internationally. Our clients range from highly entrepreneurial, “start up” companies to large, established corporate organizations and global corporations.

Simpson & Associates Executive Search Inc. is the Western Canadian arm of Consilium International, our national executive search affiliation, which includes three other high caliber executive search/recruitment firms, Simpson Executive Search Inc. in Regina, Palmer & Company in Toronto, and Abécassis Inc. in Montreal. Consilium International is a very active affiliation and we are able to provide our clients with a national and international scope of search services and local market networking/direct sourcing capability.
In addition to a background in executive recruitment, our Executive Search Consultants have a minimum of twenty years of senior level business experience (both domestic and international), acquired in a variety of Corporate, Public and Private Sector environments. Our Consultants work closely with our dedicated, in-house Research professionals and Administrative staff in conducting original, focused, targeted searches to meet our client needs.
We take a highly consultative approach to our work for client organizations, with a particular emphasis on understanding their business objectives and strategy, the markets in which they operate as well as the organizational culture the client company wants to create and foster. We draw on our understanding of these factors in our recruiting strategy for the client organization and seek candidates who possess the skills, experience and personal attributes which will align with the client environment and culture.
